Our client wanted the outdoor area of the home to reflect internal renovations that had taken place, whilst remaining sensitive to the incredible natural topography of the block and playing off the the mid century architecture.

Our brief was to create an all season entertaining area which highlighted the natural rock and towering Angphora as well as inviting, yet functional access to upper terraces of the garden. Continuing the minimalist colour palette and crisp lines used inside the home, we used corten steel to soften this and integrate these elements with the natural sandstone. Custom designed, formed concrete elements are strategically lit and create a dramatic outlook from the living areas at night.
