Our Design Process
Step 01 - On-site consultation
We’ll meet on-site to discuss your vision, wishlist and any challenges specific to your space. This is a collaborative session where we’ll explore ideas, consider your budget and touch on key factors like maintenance and potential construction requirements.
The on-site consultation is $185 and typically runs for 1 to 1.5 hours.
Step 02 - Design proposal
Following our consultation, we’ll prepare a tailored design fee proposal outlining the scope of work based on our discussion. If you’d like to proceed, a deposit will be required to secure your place in our schedule.
Step 03 - Concept plan & 3D visuals
This is where your vision starts to take shape. We develop a concept plan that thoughtfully integrates your brief, ensuring the design enhances both your home and lifestyle. To help you visualise the space before construction, we also provide 3D renders, giving you a clear sense of how everything will come together.
Step 04 - Construction documentation
To bring your design to life, we create detailed documentation that ensures a seamless handover to your landscape contractor. This includes specifications for materials, plant selections, and all structural elements. If your project requires council approval, we can also prepare the necessary plans for Development Applications (DA) or Complying Development Certificates (CDC) and engage specialist consultants such as engineers or arborists if needed.
Step 05 - Bringing it to life
With the design finalised, it’s time to turn plans into reality! We can issue a request for proposal to one preferred landscape contractor for construction and installation. We will carry out a detailed handover with the landscape construction manager to ensure the concept for your garden is brought to life exactly as envisioned.
